Edward Vogel

What an honor! Edward Vogel received a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Choral Performance for his stunning work as baritone soloist on the Apollo’s Fire 2023 recording of Handel’s Israel in Egypt, released on AVIE Records.  Noted for his superb interpretation of Bach’s Mass in B Minor, Mark Jordan of Seen and Heard said  “likewise outstanding was Edward Vogel in the ‘Et in Spiritum sanctum,’ where he was able to take his sonorous baritone and send it soaring with the kind of gleam normally associated with tenor voices.”

‘Ned’ Vogel is a noted recitalist whose specialties include British art song of the twentieth century, music from Medieval and Renaissance Iberia, and works by Gustav Mahler.
